You have proven work experience in the Utilities industry and optimizing customer enablement functions. You are a strategic problem solver with extensive consulting and industry experience. You communicate clearly and effectively, maintaining an open, relatable manner with clients and colleagues. You perform well in an agile, fast-paced environment and know how to balance leadership with contributing to team efforts.

You possess energy and drive, resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love for continual learning. You excel at breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing clear reasoning and analyses to solve problems.

You also are:

  • Strong critical thinker with the ability to understand client challenges and define strategies and solutions tailored to their market and organizational needs.
  • Capable of partnering with Utility clients, including Chief Customer Officers, Business Strategy leads, and Customer Operations leaders, to make bold decisions intersecting business, digital technology, and operations.
  • Fluent in trends in Utilities, digital, commerce, and sales, positioning Accenture as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Having a high-level understanding of how technology platforms and ecosystems fit into the digital landscape and how digital technology is transforming business.
  • Able to build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and value creation within existing and new engagements.
  • Excellent in communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories around insights, challenges, and solutions for an executive audience.

The work:

The individual will apply their industry expertise directly with clients to bring strategic thinking to challenges in digital, commerce, and sales.

+ Understand client needs, develop new strategies, and deliver high-impact solutions that provide value.

+ Provide thought leadership on trends in digital transformation and customer operations within Utilities, positioning Accenture as a trusted advisor.

+ Lead digital transformation initiatives and manage project teams to ensure successful implementation within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

+ Conduct value analysis to generate insights and identify opportunities for value creation for clients and Accenture across digital capabilities.

+ Partner with clients to make bold decisions on key C-suite issues.

+ Grow your expertise and coach junior team members to maintain Accenture’s thought leadership.

+ Build and sustain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and value addition.

+ Support the profitability of client engagements and explore opportunities for extension, cross-sell, or up-sell.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in the utilities sector, including a robust understanding of the customer space, market trends, and challenges.
  • 2+ years in consulting, strategy, or similar roles.
  • 2+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in Utilities or related industries.
  • MBA or an equivalent graduate degree.
  • Strong understanding of customer sales enablement platforms like Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of back-office platforms such as Oracle and SAP.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with at least 2 years of experience driving insights with analytical tools.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
