Job summary

CRH is building a world class Strategy function based in Atlanta, GA, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Strategy. The Strategy Manager will drive market analysis, strategic projects, and partnerships to advance growth and value creation across CRH's portfolio of operating businesses.

Responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, supporting planning processes, and coordinating with CRH Group Strategy, Innovation and Ventures on pilots, partnerships, and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or similar.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of and/or experience in the Construction and Building Materials sectors is a plus.

• Work with CRH Group Strategy, Innovation and Ventures on strategy projects as well as evaluation and implementation of specific projects, pilots, partnerships, and investments
• Follow business trends across the industry, synthesizing real time insights and contextualizing with current CRH efforts

Position Overview

The Strategy Team supports analysis for CRH leadership decision making, allowing them to execute on their vision for CRH. The team provides expertise through market analysis and synthesis of trends shaping the global building materials & construction sectors.

As a Strategy Manager, you will play a role in advancing growth and value creation at CRH. Through market analysis, strategic projects, and partnering with CRH operating businesses, you will help guide CRH's continued exploration in support of its vision as an industry leader.

This role will be based in Atlanta, GA and report to the Senior Vice President of Strategy.

Strategy Manager (Finance)

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or related field
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or similar
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of and/or experience in the Construction and Building Materials sectors is a plus

Work Requirements

• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment, assisting the team with other duties as required
• Ability to work on a global team spanning many time-zones
• On site work environment at least 4 days per week in office when not traveling (some flexibility to work from home)
• Domestic and international travel approx. 25% may be necessary according to the demands of the role
• The position may require work outside of normal business hours
