Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Strategy to advance portfolio strategy across the Student Information and Family Engagement portfolios. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Strategy, you will deliver data-driven analyses and strategic recommendations to inform growth, retention, and profitability.

You will collaborate with leaders across Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, building executive-level narratives and owning solution areas over time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in product strategy, strategy consulting, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Synthesizes research, market landscape, data, and competitive intelligence.
• Strong business and financial acumen for analysis and recommendations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication with executive-level materials.
• Travel up to 10%; some on-call hours beyond normal workday.
• Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or enterprise software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research: customer discovery, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Translate findings into insights, opportunities, and roadmap priorities.
• Conduct performance analyses across bookings, pipeline, win/loss, retention, and product metrics.
• Provide narratives for senior leadership and Board audiences.
• Develop pricing, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market implications.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success for planning.
