Job summary

Capital Department is seeking a Deal Strategist to partner with startup CEOs and raise capital through Reg CF and Reg D SPVs. You will own end-to-end strategy, fundraising operations, and reporting for multiple deals.

The role requires 5-7+ years of relevant experience, a strong executive presence, and proven ability to drive high-impact campaigns in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a talented team and engage with premier investors and platforms.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of capital-raising or deploying capital to startups.
  • Experience in a marketing or sales role, or as a founder.
  • Executive presence with clear, concise, and persuasive communication.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage many stakeholders and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead calls with founders and manage deal performance analysis and reporting.
  • Create investor narratives and write persuasive copy.
  • Build investor pipelines and manage investor decks, updates, pitches and webinar presentations.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns to reach prospective investors online.
  • Oversee strategic relationships with Reg CF and Reg D platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable systems and tools to enhance fundraising outcomes.

What will you do?

As a Deal Strategist, you will partner directly with CEOs to raise capital for their private market deals via Reg CF and Reg D special purpose vehicles. You will own the end-to-end strategy and operations for your deals.



  • Lead calls with founders and manage deal performance analysis and reporting

  • Create compelling investor narratives and write persuasive copy

  • Build investor pipelines and funnels and manage the creation of investor decks, updates, email campaigns, pitches, and webinar presentations

  • Develop and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns to reach prospective investors online

  • Oversee strategic relationships with Reg CF and Reg D investment platforms

  • Design and implement scalable systems and tools to enhance fundraising outcomes


What are we looking for?


  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience raising capital for, or deploying capital to, startups

  • Experience in a marketing or sales role, or as a founder

  • Executive presence with a communication style that is clear, concise, and persuasive

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven startup environment

  • Detail-oriented organizational skills; experience managing many stakeholders and projects at once

  • Proficiency in Claude, Google Workspace, Asana, Zoom, Slack, email service providers, Figma, Canva

  • Strong record of professional and/or personal achievement


What experience would be an added bonus?


  • Business degree, especially an MBA
