Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Growth to help shape the future growth of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones. You will tackle strategic opportunities from evaluating new businesses and partnerships to informing operating strategy and long-term growth initiatives.

This broad, high-impact role requires intellectual curiosity, rigorous analysis, and the ability to move fluidly across a diverse portfolio of work across editorial, product, engineering, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, or related field.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent research capabilities and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and independently driving projects forward.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior executives.
• Knowledge or experience about digital media and evolving consumer behavior.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insight work to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.

• Analyze internal and external data to uncover opportunities, measure performance, and inform executive decision-making.
• Partner with leaders across editorial, product, engineering, marketing, finance, and commercial teams to advance key initiatives.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, memos, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Help drive strategic projects from initial concept through execution, adapting as business priorities evolve.

What We're Looking For
