Job summary

Edward Jones seeks a Strategy Analyst III to build compensation models and analyze partner affiliation options for Financial Advisors. You’ll create user-facing tools, present insights to senior leaders, and partner with product teams on education and enablement initiatives.

You will collaborate with the Partnership Strategy & Accounting team to design models, forecast outcomes, and support firm policies while advancing data-driven decision making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline such as accounting, finance, economics, data science, or analytics.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to translate business strategy into requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; pivots and formulas.
• CPA license a plus.
• Ability to summarize financial information for senior leadership.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to influence associates and leadership up to the senior level.
• Working understanding of agile product management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Power BI/PowerQuery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creates compensation modeling tools and resources as well as analysis that facilitates the transformation of complex data/information into actionable insights.
• Frequent verbal, visual & written presentation of modeling and analysis to partner Financial Advisors.
• Collaborate with others as the partnership subject matter expert (SME) to conceptualize and recommend solutions for enabling firm policies and strategies
• Collaborate with Product Teams in the design, development, and implementation of enablement and educational solutions
• Champion the innovation and evolution of existing processes, controls, and tools in order to meet the changing needs and increasing complexity of the organization
• Proactively identify opportunities with moderate to broad impact and visibility, propose solutions to relevant parties and drive implementation of solutions
