Job summary

Malvern Panalytical is seeking a Strategy Director to shape the company’s long-term growth and value creation agenda. You will lead enterprise strategy, coordinate planning, and evaluate inorganic opportunities, reporting to the VP Strategy & M&A.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading strategy engagements in a consulting, corporate strategy, or PE environment.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Experience translating strategy into execution through governance, planning, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience evaluating growth opportunities, acquisitions, or commercial diligence within a strategic context.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification; MBA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise strategy process and translate market trends into a clear strategic roadmap.
• Partner with divisional and functional leaders to align strategies with objectives and value creation.
• Coordinate strategic planning, governance, reporting, and performance tracking across initiatives.
• Support M&A activity by defining growth themes, evaluating opportunities, and contributing to due diligence.
• Provide oversight across transformation, integration, and value creation programs to ensure execution.
• Act as trusted advisor to executive leadership on strategic decisions.
