About Imagen

Imagen Technologies is building the AI-enabled teleradiology practice of the future. We operate the first, vertically-integrated medical practice and AI development platform focused on reducing diagnostic error and giving radiologists superpowers with industry-leading AI solutions developed in-house. With over $300 million in funding from investors such as Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. — from 22 states and 2.7 million patients in 2025 to more than 35 states and over 5 million patients annually by 2027. We are the fastest-growing teleradiology group in the U.S., and by the end of this year, we will have the fifth-largest practice in the country.

If you’re looking to shape business processes & strategy that directly impact the future of AI-enabled healthcare, Imagen is the place to do it.

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Strategy & Business Operations Associate to act as an internal consultant and 0-to-1 builder at the heart of our fastest-growing operations. Reporting directly to leadership in Finance & Business Operations, you will tackle the company’s most complex, unstructured challenges – turning high-stakes operational friction into scalable, tech-enabled realities that directly drive our growth trajectory.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role with an uncapped ceiling for organizational impact. You will collaborate directly with leaders across Physician Recruiting & Onboarding, Clinical & Provider Services, Product & Engineering, and Commercial to own mission-critical initiatives end-to-end. Whether architecting core workflow automations, evaluating key vendor stacks, or driving radiologist product operations from scratch, your projects will be crucial to scaling our operating model.

Example Areas of Focus

  • Operations Scalability & Process Automation:

    • Process Mapping & Friction Identification: Map end-to-end operational workflows (e.g., across Clinical Onboarding, Scheduling, Provider Operations) to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and error-prone manual steps.

    • Workflow Design & Automation: Design, test, and deploy standard operating procedures (SOPs) alongside AI-assisted automated workflows to eliminate repetitive manual data entry and streamline core operations.

    • Process Ownership & Optimization: Take end-to-end ownership of core operational processes, establishing operational metrics, tracking efficiency gains, and driving step-change improvements in capacity and lead times.

  • Vendor Strategy, Tooling & Product Ops:

    • Software & Tooling Audits: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of active internal software tools, vendor contracts, and tool utilization pain points, gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback from Ops, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.

    • Build vs. Buy & Procurement: Lead vendor RFP processes, \"build vs. buy\" evaluations, pricing model analyses, SLA negotiations, and contract terms for mission-critical software and service providers.

    • Product Operations & Alignment: Act as the connective tissue between Operations and Product/Engineering to operationalize new features, gather operational requirements, and feed field insights back into our product roadmap.

  • Cross-Functional Execution & Strategic Initiatives:

    • Executive Decision Support: Conduct deep-dive quantitative analyses and draft executive memos to drive alignment among senior leadership on high-stakes operational choices.

    • Ad-Hoc High-Impact Projects: Serve as a flexible operator to tackle emerging, unstructured \"firefighting\" projects and 0-to-1 strategic initiatives across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in high-caliber business environments, including top-tier management consulting firms, investment banking, or Strategy & Operations / BizOps at a high-growth tech startups.

  • Process & Automation Orientation: Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience in process or operational redesign, especially by using AI tools.

  • Highly organized and can successfully manage multiple work streams across different functions

  • Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems; comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and ambiguity

  • Strong quantitative and verbal skills with high attention to detail and low tolerance for failure

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to explain your processes, logic, and decisions

  • Possess a \"no job is too big or too small\" mentality in order to support the various needs of the business

  • Ideally healthcare experience, though not explicitly required
