Job summary

Affirm Partners seeks an analyst with a consulting or banking background to join our strategy team. This role targets high-performing pre-MBA talent who want to leverage problem-solving and diligence experience in a professional services setting closely aligned with the private equity and financial markets ecosystem.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to evaluate strategic priorities, support firm-wide transformation initiatives, and generate insights that drive competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a strategy-focused role.
• Strong track record of structured problem-solving and strategic thinking.
• Demonstrated excellence in executive communication and presentation development.
• Experience in diligence, transformation, or process management with cross-stakeholder tracking.
• Interest in private equity and finance landscape; ability to excel in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Structure and solve complex business problems using consulting-style frameworks.
• Support strategic diligence on market opportunities, competitors, and growth tied to PE.
• Create executive materials including presentations, page builds, and leadership write-ups.
• Drive process management of strategic initiatives and track milestones.
• Analyze industry and firm performance data to generate actionable insights.
• Partner with leadership to advance transformation and operational improvements.
