Qualifications

  • Develop strategic plans, organizational assessments, workforce strategies, and transformation roadmaps; guide clients toward long-term goals.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including interviews, surveys, data assessments; translate insights into recommendations.
  • Review and optimize client business processes to improve efficiency and service delivery; contribute to change management plans.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders; lead workshops, presentations, and working sessions with project leadership.
  • Collaborate across Arcadis networks to develop innovative solutions and support business development for the advisory team.

Role description:

We are seeking a Strategy & Transformation Management Consultant to support and lead components of strategic planning, change management, operational improvement, and workforce development engagements. In this mid-level position, you will work directly with utility leaders, contribute meaningful insights, and support the delivery of high-impact solutions that enhance organizational performance and culture.


You will excel in this role if you are a strong communicator, a structured problem solver, and someone who enjoys collaborating within diverse, multidisciplinary teams.


Role accountabilities:

In this role, you will help clients develop and implement strategies that improve organizational performance, workforce effectiveness, and business outcomes. You will work closely with client stakeholders and Arcadis teams to analyze challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that support long-term success and transformation. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to contribute to both project delivery and business development efforts.



  • Manage the development of strategic plans, organizational assessments, workforce strategies, and transformation roadmaps while creating future-focused strategies that guide clients toward their long-term goals and support informed decision-making.

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including interviews, surveys, data assessments, and performance evaluations, and translate research, data, and insights into clear, actionable recommendations tailored to client needs.

  • Review and optimize client business processes to improve efficiency, service delivery, and overall value, while contributing to implementation roadmaps and change management plans that support digital, operational, and cultural transformation.

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and support engagement activities such as workshops, presentations, and working sessions, while delivering high-quality client experiences through active listening, anticipation of client needs, and collaboration with project leadership.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Arcadis' national and global networks to develop innovative solutions, contribute to thought leadership in strategy and organizational performance, and support proposal development, client pursuits, and business development activities that drive growth for the Business Advisory team.


Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational improvement, operations, or related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the water industry, public sector, or utilities is a plus.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams, managing tasks independently, and contributing to structured project delivery.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $105,494 - $158,242/year . Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
