Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
- Must be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01, and Air Force Manual 17-1301.
- Must complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, ST5 investigation (including SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD CE/CV program), adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD CAF without conditions, exceptions, or waivers, and maintain the security level for the contract duration.
- Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Higher education degree in a relevant field preferred or military experience as a Strategist, SAMs, or SAW graduate.
Experience Required
- Experience in developing and analyzing MARCENT strategy, policy, campaign plans, and requirements.
- Experience creating assessments, information papers, and briefs.
- Experience planning executive off-sites, conferences, and presentations.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills are required.
- Ten years of military experience preferred.
Job Objective
Support MARCENT and subordinate commands through professional services, including strategic planning, policy development, assessments, and operational support, primarily located at MacDill AFB, Florida, with extensive travel across CENTCOM AOR countries.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategy and policy analysis aligned with higher command levels.
- Assist in developing command strategy, policy, and plans.
- Monitor and review doctrine and ensure compliance.
- Develop assessments, papers, and briefs; coordinate across staff sections.
- Prepare component-level information and position papers.
- Support planning for key conferences and operational meetings.
- Participate in operational planning teams and working groups.
Additional Requirements
- Must support extensive travel, including OCONUS travel throughout the CENTCOM AOR, with the ability to respond on short notice.
