Job summary

Vivmark Residential, formed by AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential, seeks a data science professional to deliver data-driven strategies and prototyping solutions. The role engages across departments to drive growth while aligning with a hybrid work model in the Chicago area.

Applicants should have a Master's in a related field and 5+ years of analytics experience, with strong SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI skills. Onsite Mon-Thu, remote on Fridays in the designated MSA.

Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to identify and define problem statements, leveraging expertise in data science, analytics, and strategy. Develop data-driven strategies and innovative solutions to address identified challenges, driving organizational growth and transformation. Take a lead role in designing and developing prototype solutions that utilize analytical tools and techniques to solve complex business problems effectively. Play a pivotal role in delivering impactful and actionable insights through the development of analytical tools and solutions. Stay updated with industry trends and innovations,actively researching and implementing new analytical methodologies and approaches to enhance the organizations data and analytics capabilities. Hybrid position. Must live within same MSA as office. Our current onsite work schedule requires attendance from Monday through Thursday each week, with remote work permitted on Fridays.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Economics, Analytics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in Analytics, data science, or a related field, with a focus on driving strategic solutions and delivering actionable insights.
• 5 years of experience with data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, R, Python, etc., with a strong ability to perform data analysis and statistical modeling tasks.
• 5 years of experience developing prototype solutions and designing experiments to test hypotheses and validate data-driven strategies, leveraging a combination of analytical tools and methodologies.
• 5 years of experience in data visualization using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, with a demonstrated ability to create visually impactful and insightful representations of complex data.
• 5 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business stakeholders, to identify and define problem statements, and develop data-driven strategies.

Salary:

$142,210 - $160,667 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus is provided. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
