Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Strategy Analyst to turn insights into action. You will analyze complex challenges alongside Strategy Directors, craft strategic recommendations, and influence business decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 2+ years in a highly analytical role.
• Excel modeling and coding skills (SQL, R, SAS or similar).
• Comfort with Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI; MicroStrategy a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented, proactive and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Develop crisp, visually appealing slides and visualizations to deliver insights.
• Explain analysis clearly to Strategy team leaders and business stakeholders.
• Mine corporate data to support strategic plans for customers, stores, merchandising and operations.
• Leverage regression or clustering techniques where appropriate.
• Estimate 'size of the prize' for opportunities raised by executives.
• Draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations.
