Job summary

RWJF seeks a Senior Director, Strategy Alignment to drive operational excellence across the Program unit and embed an equity lens in all strategic initiatives. You will orchestrate cross-department collaboration, develop detailed roadmaps, and produce board-ready materials for executive oversight.

The role requires building alignment among senior leaders, managing change, and ensuring projects stay on schedule while advancing RWJF’s mission and Guiding Principles.

Qualifications

• Commitment to racial and health equity and to RWJF Guiding Principles.
• Extensive background in internal operational management, strategy roles, or chief of staff functions.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs within matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate decentralized units and standardize cross-functional execution within the Program unit.
• Translate enterprise direction into detailed workflows, roadmaps, and service agreements.
• Lead governance, briefings, and board-ready materials for leadership and Board of Trustees.
• Develop and monitor KPIs/OKRs and drive change management across the organization.
• Ensure equity is embedded in all management architectures and decision processes.
