Job summary

Seagate Technology invites applications for a Strategy AI Intern at the Normandale campus. You will design and build AI-enabled applications to strengthen how the Corporate Development & Strategy team conducts research, analyzes information, communicates strategy, and makes decisions.

You will work at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI, data, and business strategy, partnering with strategy professionals to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and applied AI solutions, incl. prompt design and production-oriented implementation.
• Experience with AI development approaches or frameworks such as RAG architectures, LangChain, MCP, or agent-based apps.
• Ability to assess AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, reliability and business risk.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated Python capability through professional experience, project work, or a portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications that automate research and support strategic analysis.
• Build AI agents that connect with internal/external data sources and automate workflows.
• Apply RAG, MCP, LLMs, and agent-based frameworks to business use cases.
• Translate technical concepts into clear language for stakeholders.
• Document architecture, data flows, and maintenance requirements.
