Job summary

The Northern Trust Company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead enterprise-wide programs across multiple projects and work streams. This role ensures delivery of critical business capabilities and regulatory changes, aligning resources, budgets and milestones for successful outcomes.

The position requires a strong track record in program/project management, superb communication, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• Seasoned expert with program/project management experience developed over 12+ years.
• A college or university degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focus of role is on execution of a program initiated to deliver a change in the strategic direction of business function activities; expansion of critical business capabilities or implementation of cross business unit regulatory change.
• Lead cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritization and issue resolution.
• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Oversee development of business cases and project documentation, escalating items for attention proactively.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills through coordination and execution across initiatives potentially impacting all facets of the business; risk and status reporting to multiple levels.
