Job summary

Erie County Community Foundation seeks a strategic, visionary Vice President of Finance and Administration in Sandusky, Ohio. This executive role oversees finance, administration, HR, IT, and risk management to ensure responsible stewardship of resources and alignment with the foundation’s philanthropic mission.

The VP will partner with the President/CEO and Board, lead budgeting and reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and guide investment oversight and donor reporting for a thriving

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of fund accounting, investments and endowments.
• Administrative leadership experience at the VP/CFO level is preferred.
• Strong accounting, budgeting, and governance understanding.
• Experience with donor tracking, payroll, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team and guide strategic financial planning.
• Develop and oversee budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Manage treasury, accounting, HR, IT, facilities, and risk management functions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with the Board and external auditors on financial reporting.
