Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a visionary executive to lead Health Information Management, Coding & Clinical Documentation Integrity. You will drive enterprise-wide CDI transformation, ensure compliant coding and accurate documentation, and partner with physicians, finance, and operations to optimize reimbursement.

Reporting to senior financial leadership, you will build high-performing teams, supervise budgeting, and advance AI-enabled documentation initiatives aligned with Johns Hopkins

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible related experience.
• 7+ years of senior management experience with significant business impact.
• Master’s degree in related field.
• Experience in healthcare CDI, planning, budgeting, reporting, accounting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering insights into performance drivers.
• Collaborate with the executive team to align objectives across the organization.
• Lead enterprise-wide planning and decision-making to support mission and goals.
• Build and develop high-performing coding and CDI teams with coaching and succession planning.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial stewardship for the enterprise.
• Drive continuous improvement across departments and service lines.
