Job summary

Diageo in New York, NY seeks a Category Finance Manager to lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for the Vodka portfolio. You will partner with brand teams and senior finance leadership to deliver insights and drive the financial agenda across Marketing and Finance.

Reporting to the Category Finance Director of Tequila & Vodka, the role emphasizes forward-looking analysis, scenario planning, and performance management to meet US market objectives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant business experience.
• Bachelor's Degree; MBA and/or accounting qualification beneficial.
• FP&A, Brand Finance, Commercial Finance experience preferred.
• Beverage Alcohol or CPG experience preferred.
• Outstanding analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence across a large matrix org.
• Ability to communicate sophisticated ideas in simple terms.
• High energy and drive.

Responsibilities

• Assess financial performance, provide business insights, and develop scenario plans.
• Support Portfolio Strategy process for Vodka brands with analyses and templates.
• Lead the financial elements of annual brand planning across Vodka.
• Coordinate quarterly brand plan reviews with Brand teams.
• Assess investments and develop ROI analyses for programs and cost savings.
• Drive efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
• Champion compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Innovation and Finance teams; think critically.
