Job summary

Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) in the United States is seeking a skilled designer to create impactful visual communications for diverse audiences. You will manage digital content, social media, and event media, ensuring branding consistency and accessibility across all materials.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of content creation experience, with strong Adobe Suite skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and three to five years of experience with four years of creating content.

Responsibilities

• Designs visual communications and materials to convey information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creates templates, layouts, and graphics for OBO projects, catalogues, and fact sheets.
• Produces content for social media, interviews with leadership, and project documentation.
• Manages photo archives, messaging slides, and the bureau's YouTube channel.
• Acts as project/content manager for internal and external digital content.
• Coordinates events, on-site video production, and post‑editing activities.
• Ensures branding and 508 compliance across communications.
• Maintains equipment inventory and advises leadership on needs.
