MiEnergy Cooperative is seeking a Vegetation Management Manager to lead and coordinate the vegetation program across MiEnergy’s service area. The role emphasizes strategic planning, field leadership, and community engagement, ensuring safe and reliable electric service.

You will guide contractor teams, manage budgets, and work with Engineering & Operations to integrate vegetation data into system planning. A strong background in forestry or arboriculture is required.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of vegetation management practices and data handling.
• Experience with GIS and vegetation management software is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead MiEnergy’s and Allamakee-Clayton’s Vegetation Management Programs to ensure safe, reliable line clearance operations.
• Develop long-term vegetation strategies to reduce outages and improve system reliability.
• Manage contractors, review billing, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Oversee vegetation management systems to plan, schedule, track, and report activities.
• Establish performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
