Job summary

CNA Insurance in Chicago seeks an experienced professional to support the Specialty Underwriting organization with strategy, execution, and data-driven analytics. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop recommendations, and drive business priorities using analytical insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

Facilitates execution of underwriting strategy and initiatives to ensure key priorities are achieved.
Leads medium-complexity projects from planning through execution, managing timelines, priorities, stakeholders, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery and business outcomes.
Establishes relationships with underwriters and leadership to identify opportunities to develop data-driven strategic initiatives and build process improvements.
Develops and enhances analytical tools and models, including underwriting forecasting models, to support business planning and decision-making.
Collaborates with Distribution, Actuarial, Claim, Government Relations, Product Development, Risk Control and other functions to meet business goals.
Remains current on trends in the insurance industry and shares knowledge with others.
Works independently, guides others, responds to ad-hoc data requests.
