Ankura is seeking a senior associate consultant to join our Turnaround & Restructuring team with locations including New York, Dallas, and Chicago. This role offers a path to advance in a dynamic advisory environment and exposure to distressed and special situations.

Responsibilities include structuring analyses, building financial models, identifying advanced analytic opportunities, preparing data requests, and presenting findings to clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in top-tier restructuring consulting
• Undergrad degree from a top institution with strong GPA
• Advanced degree(es) and/or professional certifications preferred (CFA, CIRA, CPA)
• Restructuring experience required
• Experience with financial modeling including 3-statement analysis and 13-week cash flow models
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Ability to work long hours as needed
• Experience with analytical tools and financial analyses beyond basic Excel

Responsabilités

• Independently structures basic issue analyses and contributes to hypothesis generation
• Builds analytical tools and financial analyses to balance timing, flexibility, detail, and risk
• Identifies opportunities for advanced analytic approaches beyond basic Excel
• Drafts client-ready data requests
• Manages engagement logistics and communication with client teams
• Assembles reports, graphs, and tables for internal and client use
• Presents work to internal teams and clients
• Interacts with senior clients to gather data and develop analyses
• Understands credit agreement terms and covenant compliance
• Performs high-level valuation with guidance
• Understands bankruptcy concepts (Chapter 11, POR, 363 sale)
• Mentors junior staff when appropriate
