Job summary

Hankook Tire in Clarksville, TN is seeking a reliable Logistics Coordinator to manage trailer activity from drop-off through pickup. You will maintain trailer inventory, schedule trailers to shipments, communicate with drivers and carriers, and prepare shipping documents to keep operations on schedule.

The role involves coordinating with regional centers, yard personnel, carriers, and transportation providers, with occasional weekend work and a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration or supply chain management.
• Experience with MS Office Suite including Excel.
• Previous experience in transportation, truck scheduling, shipping, logistics, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Experience with trailer-yard inventory and shipment scheduling systems; ASAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trailer drop-offs, yard movements, loading schedules, and carrier pickups.
• Prepare daily truck assignments in SAP and update trailer/shipment data as conditions change.
• Maintain trailer yard inventory with carrier, location, status, and availability.
• Communicate with drivers, shippers, and carriers regarding arrivals, delays, and readiness.
• Prepare, issue, and verify bills of lading and other shipping documents.
• Maintain Excel shipment logs and related records; reconcile operational data.
• Assist with scheduling issues with other departments and weekend coverage as needed.
