The Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Dental Director to lead Tribal Dental Programs in Tucson and Guadalupe, overseeing clinical services, staff, budgeting, and policy development. The role functions as a Division Director with expanded collaboration with Executive Director and Board of Directors for the tribal health program.

Ideal candidates hold a DDS/DMD, with 5+ years in health-care management, and prefer bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree required from an ADA-accredited school.
• + Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a management capacity in a health care institution or agency.
• + Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• + Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• + Current CPR and First Aid.
• + Current State Dental License in good standing and DEA license to prescribe.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, ensuring staff are trained and follow policies and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies, procedures, strategies, and goals; maintain and ensure procedural compliance.
• Oversee implementation of plans and programs; monitor practices and procedures for compliance with guidelines.
• Develop patient treatment plans and ensure proper referral of patients for necessary medical evaluation or specialty care.
• Direct and participate in preparation of departmental budgets, financial reports, and capital budgets; monitor revenues and expenditures.
• Ensure development and delivery of community-based dental health services as specified in contracts.
• Investigate and develop potential sources of federal, state, and third-party funding.
