Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Dental Director to provide clinical leadership, oversight of dental providers, and strategic direction for all dental services. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while developing policies and best practices, mentoring staff, and collaborating with executive leadership on growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active or able to obtain an unrestricted dental license in Arizona.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical dental experience.
• 3 years' prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of dental providers and support staff.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate dental staff.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and expansion of services.
• Maintain a limited patient caseload as needed.
• Oversee risk management, infection control, and peer review processes.
