Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Treasury Management Consultant III for Specialized Industries in New York. The role centers on expanding full-service treasury management relationships and cross-selling treasury services to new and existing Capital One clients.

You will partner with internal teams to advise on deposits, liquidity, risk, and treasury management solutions, focusing on bringing in new deposits and growing revenue in TMT or FIG verticals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 6 years of financial services experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• At least 5 years of treasury management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• Certified Treasury Professional designation or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Identifies both internal and external prospects. Develops and maintains relationships with prospects to profitably expand business
• Provides thought leadership within and outside the market through hosting corporate events and speaking at industry conferences
• Engages with internal marketing in the design of sales collateral and company-sponsored marketing
• Manages portfolio of existing clients with focus on profitable, organic revenue growth and minimizing attrition
• Manages portfolio of new-to-bank clients with focus on revenue growth
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients to maintain and expand existing business
• Knows business's organization, expected activity; identifies and communicates operational credit exposures and other risks
• Understands treasury management product risk and ensures Capital One credit policies and other risks are mitigated
• Establishes onboarding expectations and ensures ramp of sold services
• Conducts independent and codependent sales calls to generate new treasury management and deposit business
• Takes a role in market by engaging in local industry associations and networks
• Identifies working capital efficiency opportunities and communicates market trends
• Identifies ancillary business opportunities to partners
• Designs customer-centric treasury management solutions and provides consultative expertise
