Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a Transportation Procurement professional to source carrier capacity and manage RFQs across North America. You will build carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and monitor performance to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include developing scorecards, contracting new providers, and ensuring compliance with Penske and customer standards. Travel may be required to support carrier relationships and on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of transportation purchasing experience including negotiating rates and service levels with carriers across multiple modes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred in logistics/related field.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and multitasking abilities; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow relationships with truckload, LTL, intermodal, and other transport carriers in North America.
• Manage RFQs to establish best rates and secure capacity.
• Conduct regular carrier meetings to review cost and service performance.
• Distribute monthly scorecards to carriers and summary scorecards to customers.
• Initiate contracting with new transportation providers and onboard to ensure compliance.
