Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Planning Analyst to oversee the transportation planning process for multiple customer products. You will ensure adherence to budgetary goals while providing strategic thinking and problem-solving to support customers and drive operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Logistics/Supply Chain and 3+ years in transportation, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google apps, and familiarity with TMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Transportation
• Knowledge of applicable Transportation regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google apps; TMS experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Create load plans using routing information to ensure profitability and cost efficiency
• Communicate with shippers regarding production issues
• Check warehouse capacity before tendering loads
• Plan customer returns for timely processing
• Conduct daily update calls with stakeholders
• Create daily summary reports for leadership review
• Identify and monitor key performance indicators
• Additional duties as assigned
