Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, travel up to 15%, and hands-on problem solving. You will develop strategies for TMS, improve carrier performance, and mentor a small team while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in Transportation, Carrier Management, or Logistics.
• 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience with SAP and WMS/Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-4 Transportation Operations Analysts.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations including delivery, load, equipment, and mode optimization; carrier planning.
• Partner with plant shipping operations to plan transportation based on outbound capacity and plant-specific logistics strategies.
• Lead carrier scorecards and business reviews to drive performance.
• Support RFP and mini-bid events.
• Assist in developing long-term TMS strategies to maximize cost and resource efficiency.
• Assist in problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
