Job summary

Neapco is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to optimize transportation spend and logistics performance. The role collaborates with finance, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective, compliant transportation activities while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include managing carrier relationships, contract management, and addressing disruptions with proactive sourcing and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in transportation contracts or MP&L.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP & Plex preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with carriers, 3PL providers, and freight claims.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze company transportation spend to ensure cost efficiency and budget alignment.
• Support cost studies and provide analysis to guide strategic sourcing and operational decisions.
• Coordinate among suppliers and plants to address supply chain disruptions such as shortages, delays, or acts of god by securing alternate sourcing, expediting shipments and managing capacity issues.
• Inform cross-functional teams and provide recommendations regarding supplier relief requests.
• Manage large-value and international freight claims, coordinating with providers and internal stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Oversee cargo insurance processes and ensure shipments are properly protected based on value and risk exposure.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and 3PL providers to ensure service performance and issue resolution.
• Escalate operational or 3PL provider service issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support carrier selection and contract management initiatives.
