Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz seeks a Transportation/Logistics Business Analyst to analyze costs, performance, data and network opportunities across a high-value logistics environment. This analytical role supports air, ocean, truckload, LTL, expedited/hotshot, and other modes with no shipment execution responsibility.

Develop KPIs, participate in analytical projects, and provide data-driven recommendations to logistics leadership and cross-functional teams. Must reside in the US with work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, analytics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of experience in transportation analytics, supply chain analytics, logistics finance, or related field.
• Experience with SAP/ERP and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and transportation management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation spend, cost drivers, rate variances, service costs, and identify savings opportunities.
• Support transportation RFPs, benchmarking, lane optimization and network initiatives.
• Develop KPIs and reporting on delivery performance, variability, claims, and logistics quality.
• Perform root-cause analysis of data issues and variances; recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Logistics Operations, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and other stakeholders.
