Job summary

Pike Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission and substation construction across our utility client portfolio. You will own the full lifecycle from estimating to execution, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.

This role requires field-driven leadership, strong client management, and coordination with field operations, engineering, and procurement to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for transmission and substation projects.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and cash flow.
• Oversee contract administration, including change orders, risk management, and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate with field operations, engineering, subcontractors, and procurement teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identify risks, and drive recovery plans as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to leadership and clients.
• Support storm response and emergency restoration efforts when required.
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout all phases of project execution.
