A utility service provider is seeking a legal advisor to assist with tort actions and claims management in their Akron, OH office. The role requires a JD degree, an active license in OH, PA, and/or NJ, and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include managing legal matters, conducting research, and providing legal advice across the company. This position values strong communication skills and teamwork. Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience in investigating and managing pre-litigation and litigated tort matters.
• Law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, manage and direct the defense of tort actions.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Provide legal advice to multiple business units.
