Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join the Mastercard Intelligence Center. The role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and reporting cyber, physical, and geopolitical threats targeting Mastercard.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of intelligence experience and will liaise with internal teams and external partners to inform risk-based decisions and improve security posture.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with experience collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing intelligence from diverse sources.
• Solid understanding of intelligence tradecraft, including structured analytic techniques and risk assessment methodologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or Information Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Track Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors and leverage OSINT techniques to identify threats to Mastercard.
• Support mitigation efforts and explore opportunities for automation.
• Author risk assessments and brief intelligence analysis to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with SOC, Vulnerability Management, Fraud Prevention, Regional Security, Crisis Management and external partners.
