Job summary

Allstate is seeking an accomplished technology strategy leader to guide enterprise-wide technology initiatives and drive strategic outcomes. You will partner with senior executives, shape long-term plans, and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires extensive experience in strategic leadership, change management, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on delivering high-impact technology programs across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience (Preferred)
• Supervisory duties and team leadership experience
• Knowledge of business and enterprise strategies
• Ability to develop and implement technology strategies
• Strategic thinking and strategy development skills
• Ability to lead complex strategic initiatives
• Ability to recommend and implement organizational change
• Ability to communicate technology strategy and align stakeholders
• Background investigation required for candidates offered the position
• Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
• For home working, a dedicated private workspace free from distractions is required
• Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate broad technology trends and disruptive innovations and interpret implications and opportunities for Allstate
• Provide an objective, independent perspective on technology resources, investments, and assets
• Bring together relevant voices and thought leadership to inform decisions and set technology strategy
• Lead the design, delivery, and execution of broad strategic initiatives supporting department and Enterprise goals
• Partner with senior enterprise leaders to develop technology strategies supporting near- and long-term goals
• Recommend and implement change across multiple organizations in alignment with enterprise initiatives
• Create accountability through clear objectives supporting strategic business outcomes
• Lead teams on significant, complex assignments by creating structure and leveraging delivery processes
• Establish vision, direction, and objectives for multiple organizational areas and integrate that vision across areas
• Communicate technology strategy so employees understand their roles and connection to Allstate strategies
• Implement the enterprise technology strategy, including high-level planning of work and resources
• Develop complex ideas with long-term strategic impact aligned with broader Enterprise strategies
