Job summary

Howmet is seeking a Technical Program Manager at its Hampton facility to lead investment casting programs, develop milestone plans, secure resources, and ensure customer milestones are met. The role will champion APQP deployment, drive best practices, and oversee lessons learned to embed improvements across the site and Business Unit.

The position reports to the Hampton Structural Casting Plant Manager and requires collaboration with Engineering, Research Center, and Corporate teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
• Experience leading cross-functional and improvement teams.
• Proven ability to deliver programs on schedule and within budget.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs to develop milestone plans, allocate resources and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Champion APQP deployment and best-practice sharing across the site.
• Guide lessons learned and embed improvements into processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Research Center, and Sales/Marketing to meet customer milestones.
• Act as Technical Expert for customer interactions and site-wide initiatives.
• Drive scrap and rework reduction in alignment with corporate goals.
