Job summary

Keb-America, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Technical Buyer to source, purchase, and manage supply of engineered components, materials, and services to support manufacturing and business operations, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

This role partners with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement, evaluate supplier performance, and maintain SAP data and purchase orders.

Qualifications

• Experience purchasing technical or engineered products and components.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Intermediate SAP/ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure technical components, materials, assemblies, equipment and services.
• Evaluate supplier pricing, lead times, performance and capacity.
• Set up and maintain main data in SAP.
• Generate, create, alter, and cancel purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for materials.
• Expedite purchase orders and follow up on status.
• Assist in inventory management and part changes.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
• Follow safety rules and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Purchasing projects/tasks as assigned.
