Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Corporate Purchaser for Technology Vendor Management to support the technology portfolio, optimize value and risk, and coordinate license renewals and procurements. The role involves software/hardware acquisition, license compliance, and lifecycle costing.

You will assist in license management, keep license data accurate, and work with IT, procurement, legal, and finance to achieve cost-effective contracts and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field with 3+ years in project/asset management, finance, or supply chain in a tech environment.
• Experience with license and maintenance renewals, vendor management, and cost optimization is preferred.
• Knowledge of software/hardware licensing and lifecycle planning.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar procurement platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IT service lifecycle management for hardware, software licensing, and renewals.
• Ensure software license compliance and manage license types and entitlements.
• Forecast IT asset investments and service costs; perform financial analyses like TCO and ROI.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Legal and Finance to maximize contract value and minimize risk.
• Support data integrity of inventory and entitlement information; assist with audits and true-ups.
