Job summary

Reliable Transportation Solutions | RTS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology projects that support business needs and improve internal systems.

You will partner with Development and IT teams, department leaders, end users, and external vendors to translate business needs into clear project requirements and actionable solutions, guiding initiatives from discovery to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, PM, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in project management or technical coordination.
• Experience with software developers, IT professionals, business leaders, and end users.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical plans.
• Familiar with project-management and collaboration platforms.
• Understanding of software development, integrations, testing, and implementation processes.
• Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and end users to identify technology needs and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into project requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria for software and IT teams.
• Lead technology projects from discovery through implementation, including new applications and system updates.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, priorities, milestones, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across departments to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Manage project backlogs and prioritize work based on impact and urgency.
• Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and actions, monitor progress, and address risks.
• Evaluate proposed system changes for security, performance, and scalability.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, training, and post-launch support.
• Provide regular updates to leadership regarding progress, risks, and decisions.
• Track results and gather user feedback for improvements.
