Job summary

Marco Industries Inc. (USA) and Marco Industries Canada Inc. seek a Tax & Treasury Analyst to manage cash monitoring, banking, vendor payments, intercompany activity, tax compliance, and month-end close support. You will collaborate with AP, AR, payroll, operations, banks, and external advisors.

The role requires organized, detail-oriented professionals with strong Excel skills and excellent communication, able to improve controls and automate processes across US and Canadian operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred.
• Three+ years in accounting, treasury, banking, tax or related finance role.
• General understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV).
• Experience with reconciliations, cash management, vendor payments, and banking.
• Experience with U.S. sales and use tax and property tax compliance.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, XLOOKUP).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank balances and cash activity for US and Canada operations.
• Review bank activity and investigate unusual or missing payments in ERP.
• Prepare weekly payment proposals (check runs, ACH, EFT, wires).
• Process vendor payments and remittances.
• Coordinate with AP to resolve payment differences and issues.
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and high-volume periods.
• Maintain corporate credit card payment schedule and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for bank, card, intercompany accounts.
• Prepare and file tax filings and payments (sales/use tax, GST/HST, property tax).
• Maintain tax calendars for US and Canada and coordinate with external tax advisers.
• Prepare Forms 1099 and intercompany payments; reconcile intercompany balances.
• Record foreign currency transactions and maintain exchange rates.
• Maintain banking records and online banking access.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and strengthen controls.
• Support system implementations and training.
