Job summary

Sorren seeks an experienced tax leader to oversee the firm’s most complex tax engagements, including multi-entity and cross-jurisdictional structures.

You will advise clients on tax planning strategies, oversee returns for compliance, and guide engagement strategies with internal and external experts. This role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and client relationship cultivation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
• Demonstrated success in delivering strategic tax planning including entity structuring and transaction advisory.
• Ability to lead multi-level teams across engagements and promote technical growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the firm’s most complex tax engagements.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies, transaction structuring, and long-term minimization approaches.
• Oversee review of highly complex tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead development and execution of engagement strategies across internal and external teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, documentation standards, and quality control.
