Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Tax in Seattle, WA to set the enterprise tax strategy and oversee planning, compliance, and risk across all entities. The role reports to the SVP of Finance & Accounting and leads a high-performing tax team.

The candidate will drive tax planning for partnership, federal, state, and local taxes, manage tax audits, and lead technology-enabled transformation of the tax function.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of progressive tax experience combining public accounting with in-house corporate tax leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's preferred.
• CPA required; MST/LLM in Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise tax strategy and translate into cohesive plan across entities.
• Lead tax accounting and GAAP tax provision, deferred tax, and uncertain tax positions.
• Oversee federal and state tax audits and risk management frameworks.
• Develop and lead a high-performing tax team and governance structures.
