Job summary

LocumTenens.com, located in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Senior Vice President of Accounting to lead the accounting and FP&A functions in a fast-growing setting. You will oversee Customer Credit & Collections, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting & Accounting, and Payables.

You will partner with sales to improve profitability and drive financial excellence across the organization. The role requires extensive leadership, deep GAAP knowledge, and experience with modern ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive management and leadership experience with a proven track record.
• CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• Experience in staffing, professional services or healthcare is highly preferred.
• Experience with Workday Enterprise Accounting and Finance software is a plus.
• Experience in M&A (evaluation, deal drafting, due diligence, integration) is strongly preferred.
• ERP implementation experience (requirements, planning, project management, implementation, and support).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial guidance to the president and executive team on strategy and operations.
• Develop and implement financial and operational strategies for growth and profitability.
• Coordinate financial initiatives and measure effectiveness across the organization.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
• Oversee GAAP compliance and financial reporting.
• Improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage the accounting department and lead a high-performing team.
• Support sales with data and analytics to identify profitability opportunities.
