Kerry in the United States is hiring a Production Planning Specialist to plan and oversee short- and medium-term production schedules. You will develop plans to maintain stock levels and lead OTIF improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include using SAP ECC/APO to prepare orders, maintain master data, and coordinate with customer care to update on schedule changes. Strong Excel and analytic skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related discipline.
• 2+ years in a planning role within a supply chain function.

Responsibilities

• Plan short- and medium-term production schedules.
• Develop production plan to maintain designated stock levels.
• Lead OTIF discussions and perform root cause analyses.
• Utilize SAP ECC/APO to identify requirements for order fulfillment, safety stock, and new product introductions.
• Lead weekly scheduling reviews with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Manage SAP dates and master data to keep planning parameters up to date.
• Address aged, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory items.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues affecting schedules.
• Adjust production schedule in response to unforeseen conditions to meet delivery dates.
• Communicate updates to Customer Care regarding planned or unplanned schedule changes.
