Centralized Supply Chain Services, LLC (CSCS®) is the exclusive purchasing agent for the Applebee’s and IHOP systems.
Formed as a purchasing cooperative to leverage the combined buying power of both systems, CSCS currently manages approximately $2 billion in spend on behalf of its Member operators.
CSCS’s primary mission is two-fold. First, to assure that Member operators receive the benefit of continuously available goods and distribution services in adequate quantities at the lowest sustainable delivered prices; and second, to coordinate with Applebee’s and IHOP in their ongoing efforts to develop new and innovative products and programs to promote their respective concepts.

Job responsibilities
- Responsibility to identify and mitigate potential supply concerns within supplier and redistribution channels. Manage Supplier readiness and DC inventory frontload activities. Champion brand test events including supplier and item set up, transportation coordination and supply through duration of test period. Coordinate supplier sample requests, expedite scenarios, and supplier product allocations as needed.
- Inventory Oversight– Track inventory levels across supplier and redistribution partner base to avoid stock imbalances. Align all stakeholders on timelines, expectations, and inventory strategies. Review date coded items to reduce product loss to expiration. Track and report transfer timing, inventory availability, and potential supply disruptions.
- Communication & Collaboration– Act as a liaison between internal teams and external supplier and redistribution partners. Work proactively to identify potential supply risks early and develop mitigation plans with suppliers and redistribution teams. Ensure timely resolution of delays or shortages to prevent customer impact. Provide real-time updates and visibility into supply status and recovery plans.
