Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Development to lead CANAC initiatives and collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and R&D to deliver priority projects. Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Engineering or Food Science.
• 6+ years in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D; Food or Consumer Packaged Goods experience would be considered an asset
• Proven Project management experience, minimum 3 years
• Experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and Continuous Improvement methodology
• Strong people management skills, managerial experience as well leading without direct influence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working cross functionally across the business
• Superior analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills

Responsibilities

• Lead CANAC initiatives and collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and R&D teams to deliver critical Supply Chain priorities.
• Advise teams in the design and implementation of new technology within the factory setting, such as Connected Factory and Internet-of-Things, to meet production goals.
• Report on project performance, flag risks to stakeholders, and create and execute mitigation strategies when necessary.
• Coordinate capital requests as project owners to identify, budget scrub, and implement capital engineering projects at internal and external facilities; secure funding and own projects from a cashflow perspective.
• Work with procurement to analyze opportunities in make vs buy and define sustainable, cost-effective Supply Chain solutions.
• Ensure superior interdepartmental communication to meet milestones and keep leadership informed.
