Job summary

Volto Consulting seeks a Supply Chain Program Manager in San Jose, CA, onsite, to own cost management and BOM resiliency for hardware programs from concept through first ship. You will validate BOM costing, guide margin management, and lead cost-reduction initiatives across cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience in supply chain/cost management, a bachelor’s degree, and strong problem-solving abilities in a technical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5–7+ years in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Proven cost avoidance, cost reduction, and value engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain readiness, total cost management, and BOM resiliency for hardware programs from concept to First Hardware Ship (FHS).
• Manage costed BOM integrity and forward costing to articulate main cost drivers and margins.
• Drive ramp plans to ensure material continuity and timing across prototypes and early production.
