Job summary

Target in Bangalore, India, seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Network Optimization professional to analyze large-scale supply chain data, develop metrics, and drive optimization initiatives across forecasting, inventory and logistics. You will partner with data science, engineering and business teams to deploy scalable analytical solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a quantitative engineering/statistics degree and has hands-on experience with SAS, R, SPSS and Python, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience in business problem solving using analytical skills.
• Familiarity with forecasting, planning, optimization and logistics.
• Knowledge of statistics and data mining techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python for prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of supply chain data to develop key metrics across sales, transportation, operations and inventory.
