Deloitte is seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Data Scientist for the US Supply Chain & Network Operations practice in California. You will define objectives, build optimization and forecasting models, and deliver analytics-driven solutions for client engagements.

Work with Python, SQL, data pipelines, and enterprise systems to evaluate scenarios and drive improvements in service, cost, and resilience. Travel ~50% and cloud certification required; candidates must be legally authorized to work

Qualifications

• Experience delivering analytical or technology solutions from concept through production deployment.
• Experience developing optimization, simulation, forecasting, scheduling, inventory, or network-design models.
• Experience using Python and SQL for data preparation, validation, and modeling.
• Experience translating supply chain planning or execution processes into functional or technical requirements.
• Experience integrating models or data through ETL/ELT or APIs.

Responsabilités

• Define decision objectives, constraints, and performance measures with client stakeholders.
• Design and validate optimization, simulation, forecasting, scheduling, inventory, and network-design models.
• Build and integrate analytical solutions using Python, SQL, data pipelines, and enterprise systems.
• Evaluate scenarios and trade-offs to quantify impacts on service, cost, capacity, working capital, lead time, and resilience.
• Support solution testing, deployment, user adoption, and communication of analytical findings.
